Tyson Barrie scores shootout winner as Monsters hold off Bulldogs 3-2 @NHLdotcom

HAMILTON - Tyson Barrie scored the shootout winner as the Lake Erie Monsters held off the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-2 on Saturday.

Lake Erie held a 2-1 lead before Olivier Fortier tied the game with less than a minute left to play in the third period.

Zach Cohen and Patrick Bordeleau scored two third-period goals for the Monsters (16-15-2), while Trevor Cann made 29 saves for the win.

Philippe Lefebvre also scored for Hamilton (13-14-5), and Robert Mayer stopped 19 shots in net.
