Tyler Shattock scores 2 as Hitmen beat Tigers for 2-0 series lead

CALGARY - Tyler Shattock scored twice and added two assists while Martin Jones stopped 19 shots to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-0 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Western Hockey League playoff action Sunday.

Michael Stone and Brandon Kozun also scored for the Hitmen, who took a 2-0 lead in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series over the Tigers.

Goalie Tyler Bunz stopped 17 shots he faced for the Tigers, who will host the third and fourth games of the series on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Hitmen went 1-for-5 on the man advantage, while the Tigers failed to score on their four power-play opportunities.
