Jack-Ty

Jack Hughes was nearly unstoppable Tuesday, but Ty Smith found a way to shut him down off the ice.

The New Jersey Devils forward was shaken, both literally and figuratively, by his teammate during a postgame interview after New Jersey's 4-3 overtime win against the Boston Bruins.

Hughes had two assists in the Devils' final home game, including the primary helper on Pavel Zacha's game-winning goal. That earned him an interview with Erika Wachter and Bryce Salvador of MSG+.
But Smith, snazzily clad in a suit and tie, snuck into the frame and surprised his teammate by giving him a few hard shakes that threw him off.
"Get out of here, man!" Hughes yelled at Smith while fighting off laughter. "Go home!"
Wachter and Salvador then pointed out that Hughes might be responsible for taking his rookie teammate home.
"Tell this guy to buy a car or something," Hughes said.
