Twelve hours of hockey on a busy Saturday @NHL
Saturday is a day for hockey fans to tune in early and stay up late. The first puck will drop about 1 p.m. ET, and the final horn won't go off until about 12 hours later.

The first of the 12 games on the schedule gets under way at 1 p.m. ET, when New Jersey visits Philadelphia in a rematch of last Saturday's 2-1 shootout win by the Devils at the Prudential Center. Both teams are coming off home losses -- the Devils were touted 5-1 by Montreal on Thursday, one night after the Flyers lost 3-0 to Boston.

The Canadiens are back home for a 2 p.m. ET start against San Jose, which comes to the Bell Centre after Thursday's 4-0 victory at Ottawa. That game will be shown by CBC as the opener of a tripleheader, and will also air on RDS.

Game 2 on CBC is Boston's visit to Toronto, one of four games that will face off at 7 p.m. ET. The Bruins hope to build off Thursday's 8-1 home win against Tampa Bay, while the Leafs were routed 5-0 at home by Edmonton on the same night. Hockey Night in Canada and the NHL Network in the United States will air the game.

Also at 7, Buffalo visits Ottawa after beating Columbus 5-0 at home on Friday. That game can be seen regionally in Canada on CBC. The Blue Jackets return home to face red-hot Pittsburgh, which has won eight in a row after beating Atlanta 3-2 on Thursday, and Atlanta moves on to Washington. The Caps are back home after a 2-1 loss at Dallas on Thursday.

Colorado, coming off a 2-1 overtime loss at Carolina on Friday, visits Tampa Bay at 7:30. The Hurricanes move on to Nashville for an 8 p.m. ET faceoff against Nashville. Also at 8, Minnesota visits Dallas and Florida tries to avoid an 0-fer on its Western trip as it visits Phoenix. The Coyotes are back home after a 4-2 win at Minnesota on Wednesday.

CBC's tripleheader concludes with the telecast of the St. Louis-Edmonton game from Rexall Place at 10 p.m. ET. A half-hour later, Detroit wraps up a swing through California with a stop in Los Angeles. The Kings are 9-2-0 at home and ended a four-game slide by beating Florida 3-2 on Thursday night.
