Turnbull's two points leads Acadie-Bathurst Titan past Halfiax Mooseheads 3-1

BATHURST, N.B. - Brent Turnbull had a goal and an assist Thursday as the Acadie-Bathurst Titan beat the Halifax Mooseheads 3-1 in the lone game in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Turnbull assisted on Adam Stevens' goal in the first period for Acadie-Bathurst (17-17-4), while Jeremie Fraser scored the eventual winner with a minute and a half left in the second.

Brad Cuzner scored early in the third period for Halifax (21-10-3) to make it 2-1.

Robert Steeves made 24 saves for the win, while Zachary Fucale stopped 37 shots for the Mooseheads.

The Titan didn't score on their one power play, while Halifax couldn't capitalize on its two man advantages.
