Philip-Michael Devos had two goals and three assists and Keven Poulin made 43 saves Tuesday as the Victoriaville Tigres beat Saint John 6-3, putting a speed bump on the Sea Dogs' march toward the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League final.
The Sea Dogs, who suffered their first loss in their last 10 playoff games, lead the QMJHL semifinal 2-1. Game 4 is Friday in Victoriaville.
In the other semifinal, Drummondville beat Moncton 2-1 in overtime.
At Victoriaville, Que., Philippe Maillet, Chris Doyle, Joel Champagne and Travis McIsaac also scored for the Tigres, who opened a 5-1 lead after 40 minutes.
Simon Despres, Michael Kirkpatrick and Yann Sauve replied for the Sea Dogs, who had a combined 39 saves from Karel St-Laurent and Marco Cousineau.

At Moncton, N.B., Charles Landry scored in overtime to lead Drummondville over the Wildcats.
The Wildcats lead the best-of-seven series 2-1. Game 4 is Wednesday in Moncton.
