Darcy Tucker, the 35-year-old veteran of 15 NHL seasons, announced his retirement Friday.

Tucker played the final two seasons of his career with the Colorado Avalanche. He's best be remembered for his seven-plus seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he established himself as one of the best agitators in the game.

In 947 career NHL games with Montreal, Tampa, Toronto and Colorado, he scored 215 goals and 476 points.

Tucker has already moved on to a new career. He's working with long-time representative Carlos Sosa on becoming a certified player agent.
