SAULT STE MARIE, Ont. - Vincent Trocheck was the hero for the Saginaw Spirit on Friday night.
The 18-year-old forward scored the lone goal in the shootout as the Spirit (9-15-2) upended the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 1-0 in Ontario Hockey League action.
Tadeas Galansky made 32 saves through 65 minutes and three more in the shoot out for the victory.
Greyhound's (14-10-1) goaltender Jack Campbell stopped all 20 shots he faced in defeat.
The two teams combined to go 0-for-11 on the power-play.
