Tri-City still undefeated at home after 5-1 win over Rockets @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-City Americans won their eighth straight game with a 5-1 victory over the Kelowna Rockets in Western Hockey League play Friday night.

Jarrett Toll, Adam Hughesman, Johnny Lazo and Brooks Macek all had a goal and an assist for Tri-City (10-2-0) while Jordan Messier had a score of his own.

Drew Owsley's 31 saves helped the Americans win their sixth straight home game of the season. Tri-City is the only team in the league to remain undefeated in their own arena.

Shane McColgan was the only scorer for Kelowna (6-5-1), while Adam Brown finished with 32 saves.
