Tri-City beats Vancouver 5-3 in shootout; rallies from 3-0 deficit @NHLdotcom

LANGLEY, B.C. - Patrick Holland had a goal and an assist, as well as the shootout winner, as the Tri-City Americans came back from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Vancouver Giants 5-4 in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

Tyler Schmidt, Justin Feser, Neal Prokop had the other goals forTri-City (38-13-2). Drew Owsley replaced Alexander Pechurskiy in net after the Americans fell behind by three. Owsley made 28 saves in the victory.

Milan Kytnar, Lance Bouma, Brett Breitkreuz and James Wright also had goals for Vancouver (33-20-4). Tomas Vincour had a pair of assists. Mark Segal made 32 stops.

With a goal and an assist Kytnar now has seven points in his last four games.

Tri-City, first in the Western Conference, has beaten Vancouver, second in the west, in all four meeting this year. Fifteen times this season Tri-City has entered a third period down by two goals or more, and have now come back three times.
