Travis Yonkman stops 27 shots as Swift Current blanks Calgary @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Travis Yonkman stopped all 27 shots he faced to lead the Swift Current Broncos to a 2-0 win over the Calgary Hitmen in Western Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.

After the Broncos and Hitmen battled to a scoreless draw through two periods, former Hitman forward Keegan Dansereau tipped a shot by Eric Doyle past Calgary goalie Dan Spence to put Swift Current up 1-0. David Stieler added an empty netter as the Broncos (33-20-0-5) won their WHL-best 10th straight game.

Spence made 26 saves for the Hitmen (39-15-1-3), who have now lost two in a row.
