Trask with four points to lead the Blades over the Pats 4-3 @NHLdotcom

SASKATOON - Jake Trask scored once and set up three more as the Saskatoon Blades defeated the visiting Regina Pats 4-3 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Jesse Paradis, Darren Dietz and Dalton Thrower also scored for the Blades (23-17-1) while Michael Burns chipped in with three assists of his own.

Jordan Weal and Andrew Rieder had a goal and an assist each for the Pats (23-16-4) as Matt Marantz added a single goal.

Andrey Makarov stopped all seven shots he faced before leaving the game after just one period.

Alex Moodie came on in relief and made 16 saves for the win.

Matt Hewitt made 29 saves in a losing effort.

Saskatoon went 2 for 5 on the power play while Regina was 1 for 2.
