BOSTON - Raffi Torres scored one third-period goal and then set up Nikita Filatov with the go-ahead tally Saturday night, lifting the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 4-2 pre-season victory over the Boston Bruins.
With one pre-season game left, the Blue Jackets rested most of their top players, including Rick Nash and goalie Steve Mason, the Calder Trophy winner as the NHL's top rookie last season. They still rallied for their fourth straight win - two over the Bruins - to go to 4-2-1 on the pre-season.
It was the pre-season finale for the Bruins, who open the regular season against Washington next Thursday night - the first of five straight home games to start the season. They finished the pre-season 5-2-1.
