NEW YORK -- Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for high-sticking Winnipeg Jets defenseman Neal Pionk during NHL Game No. 682 in Toronto on Thursday, April 15, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced.

The incident occurred at 18:14 of the third period. Hyman was assessed a minor penalty for high-sticking.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
