TORONTO -- Petr Mrazek will be out at least six weeks for the Toronto Maple Leafs because of a groin injury, meaning the goalie would miss the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Mrazek was injured Tuesday in the first period of a 6-4 win at the Boston Bruins. He allowed one goal on four shots before leaving 7:44 into the game. Erik Kallgren won in relief.
"Mrazek is getting another consultation today just to get some confirmations on some things, but at this point it's looking like he is going to be out a minimum of six weeks," Maple Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe said Thursday. "If anything changes on that front, we will let you know, but that's the sense we have right now."
Mrazek was starting for the third time in four games after not playing since March 13. He was 12-6-0 with a 3.34 goals-against average and an .888 save percentage. He played twice in the first two months of the season after sustaining a groin injury in his Maple Leafs debut Oct. 11 against the Ottawa Senators and then reaggravated the injury Oct. 30 against the Detroit Red Wings, which kept him out until Dec. 11.
Toronto (43-19-5) is second in the Atlantic Division, one point ahed of the Tampa Bay Lightning. The playoffs are scheduled to begin May 2.
Keefe said he is confident in goalie Jack Campbell, who is nearing a return from a rib injury, and Kallgren in Mrazek's absence.
Kallgren is 4-2-1 with a 2.71 GAA and .906 save percentage in seven games (five starts) after a 7-3 win against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday. Campbell is 24-9-4 with a 2.65 GAA and .914 save percentage in 40 games (39 starts).
"Kallgren has done a great job, won big games for us," Keefe said. "He comes in the other night on the road against the Boston Bruins with lots of game left and it was a tight game at that point. He's beat [the Carolina Hurricanes] in here (3-2 on March 17). I mean he's won us some big hockey games and done really well.
"He's gained confidence the more comfortable he gets here, and obviously Jack is right on the cusp of returning and looks really good, so from that sense we feel good. Most importantly at this point for me, and I've been talking about it all the way through this season, I'm focused on how we play as a team. When we play like we have been playing, it gives no matter who is in goal a great chance of success, and we've seen that here of late."
Campbell has not played since March 8 but is expected to be a full participant in practice Friday.
"It was a day off for Jack today," Keefe said. "He's been working real hard to come back here. He's actually cleared medically at this point, it's just a matter of him feeling good and getting ready to play in a game. It's been a while since we had a full practice as a team, so he wasn't going to play tonight, and as we forecast ahead here, we don't have another day off until Wednesday. So we thought today was a good day for him to take off and then he will be with us full go in practice."
Defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin left the game against the Bruins after he was punched by Boston forward Taylor Hall. Lyubushkin skated Thursday but did not play against Winnipeg. Keefe said it does not appear to be a serious injury.
"Lyubushkin skated this morning and he's doing well, but he did have a number of symptoms the other night, and because of that, they wanted to be extra cautious with him," Keefe said. "Head injury, yeah, I don't know if we are going to call it concussion symptoms necessarily, but [the medical team] was not comfortable in allowing him to go back to play and he was not comfortable in playing."
