Winnipeg Jets season snapshot memorable moments

With the NHL pausing the 2019-20 regular season on March 12 due to the concerns surrounding the coronavirus, NHL.com is taking stock of each of the League's 31 teams.

Today, a look at three memorable moments for the Winnipeg Jets at the pause:

Rock-paper-scissors ... puck

A young fan received a souvenir and a cool story Jan. 12.

Winnipeg Jets forward Patrik Laine defeated the little supporter in a game of rock-paper-scissors but still flipped him a puck before the game against the Nashville Predators at Bell MTS Centre.

New hydration

Mark Letestu made headlines in the preseason for his unique cure for dehydration.

The Jets forward was caught eating mustard straight from the packet in the third period against the Edmonton Oilers on Sept. 27.

Mental health masks

Connor Hellebuyck and Laurent Brossoit protected their faces and raised awareness for a good cause Feb. 1 and 2.

The Jets goalies sported custom masks that supported the Winnipeg-based Hockey Talks program for mental health awareness.
