Top line dominant in Blue Jackets' win vs. Predators @NHLdotcom

The line of Nick Foligno, Ryan Johansen and Brandon Saad combined for 11 points in the Columbus Blue Jackets' 7-1 preseason win against the Nashville Predators at Nationwide Arena on Saturday.

Foligno had two goals and two assists, Saad had two goals and one assist, and Johansen had four assists for Columbus, which finished the preseason 5-2-1.

Foligno, Rene Bourque and Jared Boll gave the Blue Jackets a 3-0 first-period lead.

Cody Hodgson scored for Nashville to make it 3-1 at 1:52 of the second period.

Saad scored two in a row before Foligno and Brandon Dubinsky pushed the lead to 7-1.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 25 saves for Columbus, which opens the regular season Oct. 9 at home against the New York Rangers.

Pekka Rinne allowed seven goals on 33 shots for Nashville (3-2-1), which opens the regular season Oct. 8 at home against the Carolina Hurricanes.
