Tomas Fleischmann
on Monday accepted an invitation from the Minnesota Wild to attend training camp on a professional tryout.

Fleischmann, 32, has played 11 NHL seasons, most recently with the Chicago Blackhawks, who acquired him and forward Dale Weise in a trade with the Montreal Canadiens for forward Phillip Danault and a second-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft on Feb. 26. Fleischmann also played parts of four seasons with the Washington Capitals and one with the Anaheim Ducks, under Wild coach Bruce Boudreau.
Fleischmann has 137 goals and 335 points in 657 NHL games with the Capitals, Colorado Avalanche, Florida Panthers, Ducks, Canadiens and Blackhawks. He scored NHL career highs of 27 goals and 61 points for the Panthers in 2011-12.
The Wild opens training camp at Xcel Energy Center on Friday.
