Tokarski stops 28 shots to lead streaking Spokane past Seattle 3-1 @NHLdotcom

KENT, Wash. - Dustin Tokarski continued his hot play Friday - and as a result, so did the Spokane Chiefs.

The world junior gold medallist stopped 28 shots as the Chiefs extended their winning streak to seven games with a 3-1 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds in WHL action.

Tokarski, a fifth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2008, has now won his last seven starts, allowing just 10 goals over that span.

Drayson Bowman led the way with a pair of goals for the Chiefs (29-14-0-3), who remain six points back of the Tri-City Americans for second place in the Western Conference.

Defenceman Stefan Ulmer had the other Spokane goal.

Thomas Hickey had the lone goal for the Thunderbirds (20-24-1-3), who have lost two straight.

Jacob De Serres made 30 saves in defeat for Seattle.
