BARRIE, Ont. - Tyler Toffoli had two goals and an assist as the Ottawa 67?s defeated the Barrie Colts 6-4 in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday night.
Nicholas Foglia, Sean Monahan, Ryan Van Stralen and Dalton Smith had the other goals for Ottawa (19-9-5).
Steven Beyers, Ivan Telegin and Zach Hall each replied with a goal and an assist for Barrie (18-12-3), while Alex Lepkowski scored the other goal.
Ottawa?s league-worst penalty kill only gave up one goal as the Colts went 1-for-2 on the power play. The 67?s went 1-for-7 with the man advantage.
Michael Nishi picked up his second win of the season for Ottawa, making 29 saves.
Barrie?s Clint Windsor stopped 24 of 30 shots through two periods before being pulled in favour of Alex Fotinos, who turned aside all 12 pucks he faced.
Toffoli?s three points moves him into a tie for third in league scoring with 53. Barrie?s Tanner Pearson currently leads the OHL with 66, but is away with Canada?s world junior squad.
