PIT@WSH: Oshie makes a young fan's night with stick

T.J. Oshie scored the game-winning goal Wednesday, but his postgame assist will stick with one fan for many years to come.

A young Washington Capitals fan leaped for joy after the Capitals forward handed him one of his sticks while leaving the ice after their win against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The young fan put himself in a good position to get the stick, but seemed amazed when Oshie actually handed him the game-used twig shortly after scoring the game-winning goal at 18:46 of the third period of Washington's 2-1 win.
The moment was enough to warm any fan's heart, especially after the boy raced up the stairs to show off new prized possession and get a well-deserved hug.
