Tipoff scores twice, including OT winner, to lead Belleville past Ottawa 3-2 @NHLdotcom

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Matthew Tipoff's second goal of the game 2:53 into overtime Wednesday lifted the Belleville Bulls past the Ottawa 67's 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action.

The 67's had sent the game to an extra period on Marc-Anthony Zanetti's first goal of the season with 2:44 left in regulation. Tipoff added a goal early in the third period, while Stephen Johnston had a power-play goal to lead the Bulls (3-3-1).

Matias Sointu had a first-period power-play goal for Ottawa (2-3-3).

Philipp Grubauer preserved the win for Belleville with a 27-save performance.

Chris Perugini was spectacular in defeat for the 67's, turning aside 45 shots.
