Tim Kraus scores shootout winner as Regina edges Moose Jaw 4-3 @NHLdotcom

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Tim Kraus scored the shootout winner, but it was Linden Rowat's 44 saves - including two in the shootout - that earned the Regina Pats a 4-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors Friday night.

The win puts the Pats (34-18-3-2) three points ahead of the Warriors (30-16-4-6) in the race for first in the WHL's East Division.

Garrett Mitchell and Jordan Eberle scored on the first two Pats shots in the game's opening 3:57.

The Warriors responded with goals from Jason Bast and Ryley Grantham in the first period before Joel Broda put the Warriors ahead in the the third period.

Victor Bartley scored with 6:29 left to force overtime.

Bartley scored in the shootout as did Rudolf Cerveny and Kraus for the Pats. Bast and Jordan Knackstedt replied for the Warriors in the shootout.

Joey Perricone made 24 saves in the loss.
