LONDON, Ont. - Chris Tierney and rookie Bo Horvat each collected a goal and two assists Sunday as the London Knights beat the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 4-1 in Ontario Hockey League action.

Matt Rupert and Andreas Athanasiou also scored while Michael Houser made 40 saves in net for the Knights (6-1-0).

From behind the net, Tierney was able to bounce the puck off the equipment of Greyhounds goalie Michael Nishi for a 2-1 second-period lead and Tierney's first goal of the season.

Horvat, London's first-round selection this year, and Tierney would set up Athanasiou to put the home team ahead 3-1.

Tierney and Horvat connected again in the third when Horvat took a pass in front of the goal and scored his third of the season.

Alex Morgan scored the lone goal for Sault Ste. Marie (4-3-0) in the first period after he deflected Joe Rogalski's point shot past Houser. For Morgan, who hails from nearby St. Thomas, it was his first OHL goal in his first game after starting the season in junior B with the Chatham Maroons.

Michael Nishi made 31 saves in his debut with Sault Ste. Marie after a trade from Windsor.

London is idle until Friday when they host Erie, while the Greyhounds visit Kitchener on Monday long-weekend matinee.
