Thursday's OHL Roundup @NHLdotcom

Taylor Hall scored his 37th and 38th goals of the season and added three assists while Adam Henrique notched a hat trick as the Windsor Spitfires hammered the Saginaw Spirit 7-1 Thursday in Ontario Hockey League action.

The line of Hall, Henrique and Dale Mitchell combined for 12 points in the game, with Mitchell, a Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, chipping in with three assists for the Spitfires (48-11-5). Hall's offensive outburst gave him 100 points on the season.

Jordan Skellett had the lone goal for Saginaw (32-25-6).

Elsewhere in the OHL it was: Niagara 2 Brampton 1; Sault Ste. Marie 4 Sarnia 0; Barrie 4 Belleville 3; Ottawa 6 Peterborough 4; London 5 Kitchener 2.

At Windsor, Ont., Henrique opened the scoring at 9:53 into the first period.

Skellett replied for the Spirit at 14:21 before Henrique found the back of the net again three minutes later.

Henrique sniped another goal early in the second to round out his hat trick before Hall and Scott Timmins took over the scoring for Windsor.

Philipp Grubauer made 18 saves to pick up the win for Windsor.

Rookie netminder Tadeas Galansky, who was appearing in just his eighth game of the season for Saginaw, made 50 saves in a losing effort.

IceDogs 2 Battalion 1

At St. Catharines, Ont., Andrew Agozzino scored in the shoot out to help Niagara edge Brampton.

Dougie Hamilton had the regulation goal for Niagara (23-33-7).

Matt Clark replied for the Battalion (24-25-14).

Niagara's Mark Visentin turned away 34 shots for the win. Patrick Killeen made 26 saves in defeat for Brampton.


Greyhounds 4 Sting 0

At Sarnia, Ont., Robin Lehner stopped all 20 shots he faced as Sault Ste. Marie blanked the Sting.

Jordan Nolan and Vern Cooper each had a goal and an assist for the Greyhounds (34-24-5), while Trevor Morbeck and Brett Thompson also scored.

Shayne Campbell made 24 saves on 28 shots for Sarnia (16-42-4).


Colts 4 Bulls 3

At Barrie, Ont., Kyle Clifford had the game-winning goal to help the Colts edge Belleville.

Darren Archibald, Nick Crawford and Alex Hutchings also scored for Barrie (53-8-2).

Luke Judson and Richard Panik, who scored twice, answered for Belleville (18-37-8).

Anthony Peters made 47 saves for the Bulls in net. Peter Di Salvo turned away 32 shots in defeat for the Colts.


67s 6 Petes 4

At Peterborough Ont., Tyler Toffoli had a hat trick to lift Ottawa to a victory over the Petes.

Ryan Martindale, Dalton Smith and Thomas Nesbitt also scored for the 67s (34-23-7).

Brett Theberge, Pat Daley, Austin Watson and Matt Puempel replied for the Petes (25-35-4).

Chris Perugini turned away 26 shots for the 67s for the win. Jason Missiaen stopped 32 shots in defeat for Peterborough.


Knights 5 Rangers 2

At London, Ont., Michael Hutchinson turned away 26 shots as the Knights downed Kitchener.

Daniel Erlich, Colin Martin, Stephen Sanza, Nazem Kadri and Justin Taylor all had goals for the Knights (46-15-3).

Jeff Skinner and Jeremy Morin replied for the Rangers (39-18-6).
