Thunderbirds score three late goals, rally for 4-2 win over Broncos @NHLdotcom

KENT, Wash. - The Seattle Thunderbirds scored three times in the final three minutes to rally and beat the Swift Current Broncos 4-2 in Western Hockey League action Tuesday.

Shea Theodore tied the game at 2-2 with his second goal of the season at 17:11 of the third period. Chance Lund scored the game-winner 35 seconds later before Burke Gallimore sealed the win for the T-birds with his 13th goal of the season into an empty net at 19:59.

The win ends a two-game losing streak for Seattle (11-12-1).

Taylor Vause had a goal and an assist for Swift Current (11-15-4).

Vause opened the scoring with his 16th goal of the season at 13:57 of the first period. Seattle pulled even on the sixth goal of the season by Sean Aschim at 5:14 of the second period before Coda Gordon gave the Broncos the lead at 5:58 of the second period.

Calvin Pickard made 42 saves to pick up the win for Seattle, which scored on both its power play opportunities while holding Swift Current scoreless on three tries.

Jon Groenheyde made 30 saves for the Broncos.
