Three points from Nemisz help Windsor defeat the Battalion 6-3

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Greg Nemisz led the way with two goals and an assist as the Windsor Spitfires doubled up on the Brampton Battalion 6-3 on Sunday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League.

Windsor (33-5-0-1) held a 3-2 lead heading into the third period thanks to goals from Nemisz, Justin Shugg and Adam Henrique. Josh Shalla scored for Brampton on an early third-period power play to knot the score at 3-3 before the Spitfires pulled away with three goals in the next eight minutes.

Jacob Lalonde and Dale Mitchell also scored for Windsor, while Branden Eden and Matt Duchene replied for the Battalion (23-13-1-1).

Andrew Engelage made 23 saves for the Spitfires. Brampton netminding duty was split between Patrick Killeen, who was pulled in the third after allowing five goals on 24 shots, and Brandon Foote, who stopped one of two shots in 11 minutes and 46 seconds of play.
