Thrashers claim Peverley off waivers from Predators @NHLdotcom
The Atlanta Thrashers have claimed forward Rich Peverley off waivers from the Nashville Predators, according to Executive Vice President and General Manager Don Waddell.

Peverley, 26, has appeared in 27 games this season with Nashville, recording nine points (two goals, seven assists). He earned a season-high two assists on Oct. 15 at Dallas and posted a three-game point streak from Oct. 15-18, tallying four points (one goal, three assists) during that span.

The 6-0, 185-pound center has seen action in 73 career games over the last three seasons with the Predators, tallying 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists). He also recorded two assists in six Stanley Cup Playoff games with Nashville in 2007-08.
