Thomas Heemskerk makes 36 saves to lead Silvertips past Rockets 4-0 @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Thomas Heemskerk turned away all 36 shots he faced, leading the Everett Silvertips to a 4-0 victory over the Kelowna Rockets in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

It was Heemskerk's third shutout of the season and moved him into second in the league in goals-against average, behind teammate Kent Simpson.

Byron Froese, Zack Dailey, Tyler Maxwell and Chris Langkow scored for Everett (35-18-3), which snapped Kelowna's nine-game winning streak.

Adam Brown made 30 saves in goal for Kelowna (28-26-4).
