The Broncos power past Moose Jaw with three man advantage markers @NHLdotcom

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos scored three power-play goals en route to a 5-2 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Eric Doyle opened the scoring for the Broncos with a power-play marker less than two minutes into the game. Jan Dalecky added a pair - his first two goals of the season - for Swift Current (9-3-0-0), who also had goals from Jordan Peddle and Keegan Dansereau.

The Broncos took a 3-1 lead into the second period after out-shooting the Warriors (4-5-0-1) by a 18-5 margin in the first.

Connor Cox scored his first WHL goal for Moose Jaw. Rookie Quinton Howden also scored for the Warriors.

Swift Current scored twice on their first six shots and that spelled the end of the night for Moose Jaw's starting goaltender Todd Mathews. Mathews was replaced by Devin Dubyk, who stopped 26 shots in a losing effort.

Mark Guggenberger made 22 saves for the Broncos.
