The Americans score 5 times in 3rd period to beat the Thunderbirds 5-3 @NHLdotcom

KENT, Wash. - Justin Feser and Patrick Holland scored two third-period goals each to help the Tri-City Americans to a 5-3 victory against the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Tri-City (27-7-0) overcame a 3-0 deficit with five third-period goals, with the final one coming from Mason Wilgosh.

Luke Lockhart, Sean Aschim and Colin Jacobs scored for Seattle (13-17-1).

Ty Rimmer made 25 saves for the win while Calvin Pickard allowed five goals against on 43 shots.

Neither team scored on the power play as both the Americans and Thunderbirds went 0-for-4.
