REGINA - Colten Teubert had a goal and an assist to help the Regina Pats beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 4-1 in Western Hockey League action Friday night.
Moose Jaw (14-29-1-1) opened up the scoring 8:46 into the first when Brendan Rowinski struck during a two-man advantage for his 13th of the year.
Regina (21-22-1-4) answered back with four straight goals, three of which came in the first period.
Tying things up just two minutes after Rowinski?s goal was Jesse Dudas with a shorthanded strike, his second goal of the year.
Next was Matt Robertson, who converted nice feeds from Jordan Eberle and Colten Teubert for his 17 of the season.
With just 13 seconds left in the first Teubert scored with a slapshot from the point while on the power play to send his team to the dressing room with a 3-1 lead.
In the second Brett Leffler added one more for Regina with a quick shot off a draw in the Moose Jaw end. Assisting on the goal, Leffler's 24th, was Rudolf Cerveny, playing in his first game back with the Pats after representing the Czech Republic at the World Junior Hockey Championships then taking a week off at home in the Czech Republic.
Earning the win for the Pats while stopping 33 shots was Linden Rowatt. Making 28 saves in the loss in his first ever WHL start was Brandon Glover.
