Telegin with a hat trick to lead the Colts over the Frontenacs 3-1 @NHLdotcom

KINGSTON, Ont. - Ivan Telegin scored three goals to lead the Barrie Colts past the Kingston Frontenacs 3-1 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Tanner Pearson assisted on all three of Telegin's goals while Mark Scheifele chipped in with two assists of his own.

Ryan Spooner scored the lone goal for the Frontenacs (6-15-3).

Mathias Niederberger made 24 saves for the win as Igor Bobkov stopped 45 shots in defeat.

Barrie scored once on six power-play opportunities while Kingston failed to score on any of their five chances.

The Colts (11-8-3) have now won three games in a row.
