Milk apparently did Teemu Selanne's hockey career good.
Selanne, who was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday, appeared in commercials for Valio lactose-free milk in Finland during his career. In his first spot, which aired in the 1990s, Selanne orders milk at a bar while the establishment's patrons admire one of his goals on TV.
The patrons can hardly believe their eyes when they see the Finnish Flash sitting beside them. Give the bartender credit for a great assist, passing the drink down the bar to Selanne without spilling a drop.
Selanne headlined the seven-person 2017 Hockey Hall of Fame class that will be enshrined in November, joining Dave Andreychuk, Mark Recchi, Danielle Goyette, Jeremy Jacobs, Clare Drake and Paul Kariya, Selanne's former Mighty Ducks of Anaheim teammate.
