Teams congratulate 2022 Hockey Hall of Fame class on social media

Roberto Luongo, Daniel Alfredsson, Daniel and Henrik Sedin headline the Hall of Fame's Class of 2022 that was revealed on Monday.

Roberto Luongo became the fourth goaltender in the past 20 years to get in on his first ballot, joining Martin Brodeur (2018), Patrick Roy (2006) and Grant Fuhr (2003).

Always ready with a joke, Luongo posted about how he formed the "best line in hockey" with his former teammates, the Sedin Twins.

In his 20 NHL seasons, Luongo played for the New York Islanders, Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks, who congratulated Luongo on his latest accomplishment on social media.

Daniel Alfredsson played 17 seasons with the Ottawa Senators and one with the Detroit Red Wings. The forward played a total of 1,246 games, posting 1,157 points.

The Senators also said Alfredsson's impact on the game is "immortalized."

Daniel and Henrik Sedin enter the Hockey Hall of Fame 23 years after the twins were each drafted by the Canucks and started their NHL journey together.

Henrik and Daniel Sedin played all 17 seasons of their NHL careers with the Canucks, starting in the 200-01 season and ending in the 2017-18 season. Henrik Sedin, a forward, posted 1,070 points in 1,330 games played. Daniel Sedin, also a forward, posted 1,041 points in 1,306 games.

The Sedin brothers started and ended their hockey careers together, and now, along with Luongo and Alfredsson, they'll be officially remembered as all-time greats together.
