Philadelphia Flyers fans don't take kindly to the Pittsburgh Penguins, it's no secret.
This even applies during an otherwise joyous holiday season.
It was Christmas 2014 when Kohlsen Fisher was given a black Penguins jersey with Sidney Crosby's name and number on the back from his aunt, which he opened while wearing an orange Flyers jersey, he treated it the way most Philadelphia supporters would.
"EW!" the young boy said, tossing the jersey away from him.
The horror. The horror.
The Crosby jersey was a gift intended for another member of the family and ordered in the wrong size. The adults saw a golden opportunity for a little fun at Fisher's expense.
But the story has a happy ending. The Flyers, who caught wind of Kohlsen's loyalty after the video went viral, sent him a care package that included a signed Claude Giroux jersey.
Fisher also got a once-in-a-lifetime experience at Wells Fargo Center.
We don't need to ask what Fisher will be wearing when his Flyers play the Penguins in the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on Saturday. Hint: Not the thing he threw across a table in disgust.
