OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Tyler Taylor put an end to a marathon shootout, scoring in the ninth round to give the Oshawa Generals a 4-3 win over the Owen Sound Attack Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.
Conor Stokes scored two third-period goals to tie the game for the Generals (6-4-0-0), who were trailing 3-1 after Owen Sound scored three over a 10-minute span in the second period.
Parnham opened the scoring for Oshawa, while Andrew Wilkins, Joshua Domingues and Mike Lomas replied for the Attack (2-4-1-1).
Oshawa netminder Daryl Borden was pulled after stopping 23 of 26 shots. He was replaced by Kevin Bailie, who made 10 saves and recorded the win. Tyler Beskorowany stopped 33 shots for Owen Sound.
