PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Taylor Hall scored the game's only goal and Andrew Engelage stopped all 23 shots as the Windsor Spitfires topped the Plymouth Whalers 1-0 Saturday night in an Ontario Hockey League game.
Hall, considered one of the best early prospects for the 2010 NHL draft, scored on a second-period power play for Windsor (14-1-0-0). With the goal, Hall moved back into sole possession of the OHL scoring lead, one point ahead of Oshawa Generals superstar John Tavares.
Jeremy Smith turned aside 29 shots for the Whalers (5-6-1-0).
The two teams complete the home-and-home set Sunday afternoon at Windsor Arena.
