Taylor Hall of the Windsor Spitfires named OHL player of the week

TORONTO - Forward Taylor Hall of the Windsor Spitfires was named Ontario Hockey League player of the week Monday.

He had 10 points (six goals, four assists) and a plus-7 rating in three games last week.

Calgary Hitmen forward Brandon Kozun was named Western Hockey League player of the week Monday.

Kozun had nine points (3-6) and a plus-4 rating in four games last week.

Defenceman Charles-Olivier Roussel of the Shawinigan Cataractes was named Quebec Major Junior Hockey League offensive player of the week Monday.

Roussel had seven points (2-5) and a plus-1 rating in four games last week.

Another blue-liner, Yann Sauve of the Saint John Sea Dogs, was named defensive player of the week.

Sauve had five points, a plus-8 rating and 10 hits in three games last week.
