Tangradi scores a pair as red-hot Belleville cruises past Oshawa 5-2 @NHLdotcom

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Eric Tangradi scored twice as the Belleville Bulls beat the Oshawa Generals 5-2 Wednesday night to extend their winning streak to four games.

Tangradi opened the scoring 11:30 into the game, and added an empty-netter with 28 seconds left to pace the Bulls (6-1-0-0). Scott Howe had the game winner with 6:13 left in the second period, while P.K. Subban added a goal and two assists and Matthew Tipoff also scored.

Brett Parnham and Kory Nagy replied for the Generals (4-4-0-0).

Mike Murphy made 34 saves to preserve the win for Belleville.

Oshawa netminder Daryl Borden stopped 24 shots in defeat.
