The Tampa Bay Lightning held the final selection in the 2020 NHL Draft.
With that 217th overall pick, the Bolts chose Declan McDonnell, a right wing from the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League.

McDonnell was the 155th rated North American prospect by NHL Central Scouting.
During the 2019-20 season, McDonnell scored 21 goals and added 21 assists in 63 games in his rookie year with the Rangers.
McDonnell is an 18-year-old right shot measuring 5-foot-10, 190 pounds.
McDonnell is originally from Lake View, New York.
