With an emphasis on drafting and developing, the Tampa Bay Lightning have created one of the strongest pipelines in the National Hockey League over the last few years. Each week, TampaBayLightning.com will provide statistical updates on key prospects throughout the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), the United States Hockey League (USHL), and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and will highlight select players from the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.

CANADIAN HOCKEY LEAGUE (CHL)

LW Boris Katchouk, Sault Ste. Marie GreyhoundsDrafted 44th overall (2nd Round) in 2016
Katchouk added three assists and was named First Star in the Soo's 5-4 overtime win over North Bay on Thursday, giving him 32 points on the season. He went pointless in Friday's 2-0 win over Sudbury, snapping a seven-game point streak (5G-9A). Heading into this week, Katchouk leads all Greyhounds in scoring (32), goals (18), and shorthanded goals (3), and is fifth in overall OHL scoring, tied for second in goals, tied with fellow Bolts prospect Alexey Lipanov for the league lead in shorthanded goals, and leads the OHL with six game-winning goals.
C Alexey Lipanov, Barrie ColtsDrafted 76th overall (3rd Round) in 2017
Adding a goal in last Thursday's loss to Sudbury, Lipanov sits fourth in Barrie scoring with 17 points. His five power-play assists are good for second on the Colts' roster.
C Christopher Paquette, Peterborough PetesDrafted 148th overall (5th Round) in 2016
Paquette hasn't factored on the scoresheet in five games, but racked up 11 shots on goal in the Petes' three weekend games. He has 10 points in 19 games.
RW Taylor Raddysh, Erie OttersDrafted 58th overall (2nd Round) in 2016
Raddysh added a goal and a power-play assist in Erie's 5-2 win over Flint on Saturday night, and leads his club in scoring (31), assists (21), and power-play assists (11).
Western Hockey League (WHL)
D Cal Foote, Kelowna RocketsDrafted 14th overall (1st Round) in 2017
Foote was named the WHL's First Star of the night on Friday, posting four assists and earning Second Star of the Game honors in Kelowna's 7-4 win over Lethbridge. Three of his four assists were primary assists, including the primary assist on the game-winning goal. He continues to lead all Rockets' defensemen with 21 points and five goals.
D Libor Hajek, Saskatoon BladesDrafted 37th overall (2nd Round) in 2016
With six points in his last three games, including a 1G-2A effort on Saturday night, Hajek is third in overall Blades' scoring and leads all defensemen on his team. Both his assists in the 6-3 loss to Moose Jaw came on the power play, and his goal was unassisted.
C Brett Howden, Moose Jaw WarriorsDrafted 27th overall (1st Round) in 2016
Howden was injured during the Canada/Russia Series and has not yet returned to action with Moose Jaw.
D Oleg Sosunov, Moose Jaw WarriorsDrafted 178th overall (6th Round) in 2016
Second in Moose Jaw defensive scoring with 11 points, Sosunov has assists in back-to-back games.
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
C Otto Somppi, Halifax MooseheadsDrafted 206th overall (7th Round) in 2016
Somppi posted two assists and earned Third Star honors in the Mooseheads' 7-2 loss to Saint John on Friday night. His 20 points places him in third for Halifax scoring.
UNITED STATES HOCKEY LEAGUE (USHL)
C Cole Guttman, Dubuque Fighting SaintsDrafted 180th overall (6th Round) in 2017
Captaining his Fighting Saints squad, Guttman added an assist in their 3-2 win over Madison on Saturday. He has nine points in 12 games for second in scoring on Dubuque and his three power-play goals pace the team.
D Nick Perbix, Omaha LancersDrafted 169th overall (6th Round) in 2017
Perbix has four assists to start the year and is tied for second in Omaha defensemen scoring.
NATIONAL COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (NCAA)
F Ross Colton, U. of Vermont (Hockey East)Drafted 118th overall (4th Round) in 2016
Through 12 games, Colton has eight goals to lead the Catamounts in scoring.
F Ryan Lohin, UMass Lowell (Hockey East)Drafted 208th overall (7th Round) in 2016
Lohin is playing a point per game in his sophomore season, with 5G-9A through 14 games. Within Hockey East, he is tied for second overall with nine points against conference teams in 10 games.
D John MacLeod, Boston University (Hockey East)Drafted 57th overall (2nd Round) in 2014
In his senior season on the Terriers' blueline, MacLeod has recorded one assist in five games.
G Kris Oldham, U. of Nebraska-Omaha (NCHC)Drafted 153rd overall (6th Round) in 2015
Oldham is 0-1-1 with a 3.44 goals-against and a .882 save percentage.
D Ryan Zuhlsdorf, U. of Minnesota (Big Ten)Drafted 150th overall (5th Round) in 2015
Zuhlsdorf has six assists through 14 games so far this season for his Gophers.
AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE - SYRACUSE CRUNCH
With 12 points in 16 games, Cory Conacher continues to lead the Crunch in scoring, with Anthony Cirelli right behind him at 10 points … The Crunch host Rochester at home on Wednesday, and then will open a home-and-home with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Friday at the War Memorial.
