LIGHTNING (12-6-1) at PREDATORS (7-7-3)
8 p.m. ET; TVA Sports, SUN, FS-TN, NHL.TV

Lightning team scope

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brian Boyle will be a game-time decision. Boyle missed a 3-0 win against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday with an upper-body injury. The Lightning recalled forward Erik Condra from Syracuse of the American Hockey League. Despite key injuries, the Lightning have won four straight and like the way they're trending. "I think we're finding different ways to win," goaltender Ben Bishop said. "Different guys are stepping up every night. They're not always the prettiest but we're finding different ways to win, and I think that's what good teams do. They find different ways to win when they're not necessarily at their best."

Predators team scope

The Nashville Predators will look to improve on a 5-1-1 record at Bridgestone Arena. They have won three consecutive home games while killing all 21 power-play attempts. The Predators are going to try and combat the speed of the Lightning by making smart decisions on where to dump pucks in the offensive zone. "I think it's important for us to put pucks in places where we can get them back offensively," defenseman Matt Irwin said. "If we can't carry it in, we put it behind their defense and make them turn, get some good bodies on their defense so they can jump up in the play and add to the offense. For us, play fast and move it up to our forwards just like I'm sure they want to do."
