Tale of the Tape: Canadiens vs. Bruins @NHLdotcom

For the third time this season, the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins will renew a heated rivalry that has shown no signs of cooling.

First place in the Northeast Division will be on the line when the Canadiens and Bruins take part in this week's Wednesday Night Rivalry contest on NBC Sports Network. Each team owns a one-goal win in the other's building this season, with the latest installment in this Original Six grudge match taking place at TD Garden.

In what was each team's ninth game of the season on Feb. 6, the Bruins used goals from Tyler Seguin and David Krejci during the first 2:05 of the third period to rally for a 2-1 victory. On March 3, the Canadiens turned the tables and earned a 4-3 comeback victory on goals from Max Pacioretty and David Desharnais in the third period.

There were two fights in that last contest, including Bruins captain Zdeno Chara dropping the gloves with Canadiens defenseman Alexei Emelin. Chara was assessed 17 minutes in penalties and was in the penalty box for the Canadiens' tying and winning goals.
