Sylvester scores twice to pace Kootenay to 5-0 win over Edmonton

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Dustin Sylvester scored twice and added an assist to propel the Kootenay Ice to a 5-0 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings on Saturday night in the Western Hockey League.

Kevin King also had a pair of goals for the Ice (11-9-2-3), while netminder Nathan Lieuwen stopped 13 shots to earn his second shutout of the season.

Andrew Bailey had the other Kootenay goal.

Goaltender Cam Lanigan turned aside 40 shots in defeat for Edmonton (9-12-1-3).
