Sylvester scores in overtime to help Kootenay edge Medicine Hat 5-4 @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Dustin Sylvester scored a power-play goal 26 seconds into overtime to give the Kootenay Ice a 5-4 victory over the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.

The goal was Sylvester's second marker of the game.

Emerson Etem scored twice for the Tigers, while Joey Frazer and Linden Vey had singles. Ryan Molle, Joe Antilla and Petr Senkerik all had singles for the Ice.

Tyler Bunz made 25 saves suffering the loss in goal for the Tigers (2-1-1-1). Todd Mathews stopped 28 shots to earn the win in goal for the Ice (3-3-0-0).
