Sylvester scores 2 as Hitmen take 3-1 series lead over Tigers

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - After an overtime loss on Tuesday, the Calgary Hitmen restored order to their best-of-seven Western Hockey League Eastern Conference semifinal series with the Medicine Hat Tigers.

Cody Sylvester scored twice as the Hitmen downed the Tigers 4-1 Wednesday to take a 3-1 series lead.

Game 5 is Friday in Calgary.

Joel Broda and Kris Foucault also scored for the Hitmen.

Zdenek Okal replied for the Tigers.

Martin Jones made 18 saves for the Hitmen while Tyler Bunz stopped 23 shots for the Tigers.
