Swift Current edges Regina 2-1 on Eakin's last-minute winner @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Cody Eakin scored with 17 seconds left in regulation to lift the Swift Current Broncos to a 2-1 win over the Regina Pats in Saturday night Western Hockey League action.

Eakin now has a team leading 13 goals on the season, with three of those markers turning out to be game-winning goals. Michael Stickland had the other Swift Current (9-5-1) goal. Morgan Clark stopped 30 of 31 shots

Jordan Weal had the lone Regina (5-8-2) marker. Pats netminder Damien Ketlo turned aside 37 shots.

The game was delayed for 14 minutes halfway through the second period while crews cleaned broken glass from the ice after a luxury box window was shattered by a deflected shot.
