Sutter with two goals to lead the Blades past the Hitmen 6-5

CALGARY - Lukas Sutter had two goals, including the game-winner, to lead the Saskatoon Blades to a 6-5 win over the Calgary Hitmen in Western Hockey League action on Sunday.

Chris Collins, Jake Trask, Brett Stovin and Darren Dietz also scored for the Blades (17-6-1).

Michael Burns set up three goals, while Josh Nicholls chipped in with a pair of assists.

Cody Sylvester had two goals and an assist for the Hitmen (10-10-2), while Jimmy Bubnick scored twice and set up two others. Spencer Humphries and Joe Kornelsen also scored, while Trevor Cheek had a pair of assists.

Andrey Makarov stopped 41-of-46 shots he faced to record his league-leading 15th win of the season, while Chris Driedger finished with 24 saves in defeat.

Saskatoon scored once on four power-play chances as Calgary failed to score on any of their three opportunities with the man advantage.
