Super 16: Predators remain in top spot

Maple Leafs, Devils on rise; Sharks fall to No. 10

The top five teams in NHL.com's Super 16 power rankings remained in the same order for the second consecutive week, with the Nashville Predators again finishing as the unanimous No. 1 in a poll of 14 staff members.

The Toronto Maple Leafs moved up two spots to No. 7, the Columbus Blue Jackets moved into the top 10 at No. 9, and the New Jersey Devils moved up three spots to No. 12.

Bruins, Sharks move up; Blues, Devils return to weekly rankings

The Nashville Predators are the unanimous No. 1 in NHL.com's Super 16 power rankings for the first time this season. This is the fourth consecutive week the Predators are No. 1. 

The Predators are on pace to win the Presidents' Trophy with 109 points through 76 games. They have a three-point lead over the Tampa Bay Lightning for first in the NHL standings and a five-point lead on the Winnipeg Jets for first in the Central Division.

Blue Jackets move up three spots; Jets enter top four of weekly rankings

The streaking Columbus Blue Jackets, winners of nine straight games, moved up three spots, and the Florida Panthers returned to the NHL.com Super 16 power rankings this week.

The Blue Jackets moved up to No. 11, and the Panthers, who dropped out last week, got back in at No. 16.

Lightning fall to No. 2, Golden Knights to No. 6; Panthers enter rankings

The red-hot Nashville Predators are the new No. 1 team in NHL.com's weekly Super 16 power rankings.

The Predators, who have won nine games in a row, knocked the Tampa Bay Lightning from the top spot this week by receiving 11 of 14 No. 1 votes from the staff members who participated.

Tampa Bay, Predators, Golden Knights move ahead of Bruins

The Tampa Bay Lightning are back at the top of NHL.com's weekly Super 16 power rankings.

The Lightning fell from No. 1 on Feb. 8 after a 16-week run. The Boston Bruins were No. 1 the past three weeks but dropped to No. 4 this week when the Nashville Predators and Vegas Golden Knights jumped ahead of them.

Tampa Bay climbs to No. 2; Bruins No. 1 for third straight week

The Boston Bruins are No. 1 again in NHL.com's weekly Super 16 power rankings.

The Bruins, who are in the top spot for the third straight week, were ranked No. 1 by seven of the 14 participating staff members and No. 2 by five. Interestingly, they were not ranked No. 3 by anyone but were slotted in at No. 4 by two staffers.

Bruins retain No. 1 ranking; Golden Knights, Predators, Lightning close behind

The Boston Bruins held on to their spot as the No. 1 team in NHL.com's Super 16 power rankings for the second consecutive week. Boston was ranked first by nine of the 14 staff members who participate in the weekly rankings.

The next three teams were separated by two points, with the Vegas Golden Knights receiving 195 points, the Nashville Predators 194 and the Tampa Bay Lightning 193. Vegas was ranked No. 1 by three staff members and Tampa Bay had the other two No. 1 votes.
